Smarkets are an online betting exchange that was founded in 2008 and offers similar features to Betfair and is becoming increasingly popular with matched bettors due to their low commissions (Profit Accumulator, Profit Maximiser and OddsMonkey members can get 0% commission) as well as the Smarkets ACCA feature that allows you to lay accumulator bets.

Smarkets vs Betfair
Smarkets is the second largest betting exchange after the market leader Betfair and up to a couple of years ago, I used Betfair for around 99% of my exchange bets as Betfair had better liquidity and a more user-friendly platform.
However, more recently I have used Smarkets for my Matched Betting and Betfair for my sports trading as this makes it easier for me to keep track of what I am making from each.
I still think Betfair has better liquidity and a more user-friendly platform but Smarkets is good enough for my matched betting.
Smarkets Pro and Cons for Matched Bettors
|Low Commissions rate of 0-2%||Liquidity is not as good as Betfair but this should not be an issue for Matched bettors|
|The feature that allows you to lay multiples||Lay Odds tend to be 1 tick higher than at Betfair (be sure that you check that any difference doesn’t outweigh the savings you are getting under a 0% commission deal)|
|Easy to obtain sign up offer|
|Can integrate with your Odds Monkey/Profit Accumulator/Profit Maximiser Accounts|
